Video Game control measures by China affect US game stocks

Take a look at TENCENT, China's biggest internet service and e-commerce company.

The stock dropped sharply last month's closing.

That was due to China's announcement:-

So if we are buying call options on these stocks, gap downs will pull the option premiums down sharply too.

MALAYSIAN high dividend stocks

There are many stocks that pay high dividends but how many of them are sustainable in the long run?

Here are some of the high yield stocks that are also in low PE (price-earnings).  In view of the market downturn since the beginning of this year, even blue chip stocks are relatively low PE.

From the list above, you can see that owning stocks like SIME, TM, surely won't hurt you as these are very strong blue chips of KLCI. Furthermore, foreign funds just started net buying since last week.

Malaysian not interested in high yield profitable companies?

There are quite a number of stocks that are profitable and paying good dividends. In fact, the yield is much better than keeping your money in the local banks (which pays <4% p.a)

However, most Malaysian folks still prefer high risks counters, expecting fast profits. These seemingly high profits may turn out to be high risks heavy losses stocks.
